By golly it's been freezing here all day and I've been triple wrapped to try to keep warm :rotfl:

Quite pleased as managed to make three large pots of soup this week, portion and freeze and one left to make the morrow. This means I can have a good sort out in the freezers, restack them both and then DH is taking me to F. Foods Tuesday and the butchers on Wednesday for a restock.

I'm having a budget, banking and filing binge the morrow as well, as DH is working late shift and will be gone after lunch so afternoon free.

Quiet day planned here, all still feeling a few degrees under and forecast not overly promising (unless you like cold and wintry, I don't) so some model/brick constructions or jigsaw doing most likely. Will be easy lunch and regular hot honey and lemon drink for all.

Biscuit, can you take the caravan to one of those car wash places with a jet cleaner and ask them how much, and get them to power wash the outside, then all you have to do is polish it!

TD airing the outside bits and i have 2 loads to go out when OH has finished eating his bowl of rocks (breakfast cereal/hollow head) ..


I then need to locate the double duvet and get that washed and dried and some bedding.. and put the waterproof sheet on..


I have 3 baskets of dressing up clothes to wash and dry which are being donated to nursery and a box of fabric that smells a bit funky. i can put it in a box with the rest of the fabric.. or I could get my act together, sort my house and set my sewing stuff up to use.

I will see how we get on washing wise and throw my bed cover in which Pixie has smeared with weetabix this morning.


I need to trundle through some more mountains in the girls room.. see if it is even possible to make it habitable.. it is pretty dreadful.. clothes mainly but i can put those away.

Hello all. Just a quick post as I'm being spoilt rotten here today and am on my second glass of B0llinger which goes straight to my head. I don't usually drink as DH does enough for both of us.

But posivibes to the Frizzles and lovely jumper Mumof2.

So no flying here today, and you wouldn't believe how long its taken to type this.

Hopefully normal service from me will resume on next week's thread.
