Best Online Access Credit Card

Hi,
I dont like my current credit card providers online system. It's hard to log into. I have to remember a random username and it logs me out within a couple of minutes.
If you are happy with your CC providers online website, please could you post it's name as I'm looking for an alternative.
I used to chase the cashback but nowadays there isn't much to be had and I dont regularly go to places that accept Amex. So I'm simply trying to make my life easier.
Many thanks
Dan

You don't say who you are with at the moment and if prime or sub prime credit is what you have access to? If we can have the information, others may be able to help you a bit more with helping find a suitable account for you.
If its prime credit cards (banks) then have you looked at your own banks credit card? I bank with Santander and have a credit card with them and theirs is easy as I can just access it when on ordinary online banking like I would any other current account0 -

I have good credit so my options regarding the credit card provider should be relatively open.
I'm currently with First Direct for my current account but really not happy with their online system and app so looking elsewhere for that too.0 -
I don't have experience of FD but I will assume its like HSBC being as they are the same (I could be wrong).
Out of TSB / Nationwide / HSBC and Santander, I find the Santander the best for me banking wise as its clearly broken down and easy to use compared to the others but Ive only ever had the one CC so someone else who has banked and had CC with other companies may think differently but its quite subjective. Have you had a look online to see videos of online banking as I'm sure there may be some generic this is how you do it type videos. That may give you some idea.0 -
i like the capital one app as any purchases I make are shown instantly as pending transactions with the merchant name.
I can Also log into the app with Touch ID on my iPhone so don't even have to enter a user name or password.0 -
Have been with RBS for ever and online with them for years NEVER had a problem with their site.0

The Lloyds Banking Group and American Express for me are the best online but if I had to choose I must say that Barclaycard are quite good online with ease as well as the app. Most lenders these days integrate the credit card with a current account you may have with them as well, so it is normally easy to pay from the current account directly. I fully agree with you about FD, HSBC group IMO mobile and online banking is really clunky and not user friendly at all.0

FD's online banking is a bit clunky but I'm surprised that's enough of a reason to move away. I guess if it really bugs you...
I find Santander's CC management a bit annoying. The main thing is that when I'm looking at my online statement and want to save it as a PDF I have to come right out of the CC section and into E-Documents to do that. It seems an obvious use case to me. There are a few other small things too. Once you know where to look for stuff it's fine.
The new-look Halifax and Bank of Scotland sites look like they were designed by a child with felt tip pens. It's probably lovely on a tablet... Other than that it's functional and you do get to choose your own username to log in with.
I think Nationwide's online banking is well designed; it's pretty intuitive and I don't recall finding myself fighting with it. You have to log in with a customer number though, which is randomly generated and difficult to remember.
Barclaycard is pretty good. It's designed specifically for CCs so you get a summary of your account on the main page. It's pretty clear where to look for everything. You choose a username for it too.
If you're looking to move bank account as well, I have no idea what the main Barclay's service looks like; I only use Barclaycard.
Just my £0.02 on various online banking services. Your opinion may vary...
Savings accounts might be a reasonable way to experiment with different online banking systems without making a bunch of credit applications if you really care that much..! Perhaps you should think about the best deal instead of the slickest user experience...0 -
I like the Lloyds Bank online banking. But it has a bug in that when I log off it declares, "Sorry, we've had to log you off. We're sorry but an error has occurred whilst processing your transaction." This leads to uncertainty over whether what I was doing was done so I have to log in again to check.
The login procedure for TSB is virtually identical to the Lloyds Bank login which is not surprising.0 -
Anthorn, sorry this is off topic, I noticed in your signature says RIP Nationwide. I'm about to switch to them. Would you mind telling me what made you leave them?
Thanks0 -

Absolutly no problems with Nationwide whatsoever. That is in my signature because I'm known by some forum members to have that current account. Removing it was just a process of cleaning up my finances. There is always something better around the corner. In fact I'm going to remove that from my signature.0
