My mum gives us £100 premium bond each for Christmas
This year she says we have to buy or own online
I live on the internet and spend £85742477447 per day online but after Reading the first page ("could take a few days") and I'm already glazing over

When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?

The easiest way to buy premium bonds is to apply online.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

You wouldn't be entered until next months draw anyway so it doesn't matter that it takes days.:footie:

I guess
But I'll never need a premium bond that much
I'll nip down the bookies and stick it on a nag
I'm sure they won't make me wait "days" to take my money

NS&I have to check you're not a Russian money launderer. It's only the first application that takes time. After that, deposits and withdrawals are practically instant.0

Last time I did it, several years ago, I phoned them up and they drew it on my debit card there and then I think0

Or you could just pay off debt or put it in the bank.
The nag is most probably going to lose you all of your money.
Premium Bonds don't work like that. Your initial investment is safe you are gambling with the interest you would have earned had you put the money into an ISA or savings account.
£100 put into a high interest current account might earn you £3 per year. In a year's time you can withdraw £103 and could put the extra £3 that you earn onto an accumulator on the horses and hope for the best which is effectively the same as you're doing with Premium Bonds. Your £100 is still safe.:footie:

Hope I'm not confusing it with their ILSCs or Direct Saver but you can only try, here's a free phone number - 0500 007 0070
