outlook (preview)

Options
Hi
My wife uses Microsoft outlook for her e-mails with a hotmail address,
this week they have updated the software and it is now outlook (preview) and she is having lots of problems using it. The main problem is it will not let her send an e-mail to multiple addresses but is fine for a single address and also it will not let her add addresses to her address log (she is secretary to a local society) any one else having problems with outlook?

Who is "they" that have updated the software? Are you talking about Microsoft Outlook that is loaded on your PC and which you use to send/receive e-mail on the PC? I use MS Outlook and haven't ever been offered an update.
  • Hi
Thanks for your reply, yes i am talking about Microsoft. My wife has used outlook for years but 3 or 4 days ago it suddenly became outlook (preview) then the problems started. I have googled "outlook problems"
and it appears they have been rolling the new outlook out since last September my wife's iphone is still just "outlook". If your outlook page does not have (preview) after outlook your lucky, for now.

This is not the Microsoft Outlook email client that is installed on a PC, this is Outlook.com and yes preview it is being rolled out to all users. If you ask Uncle Google about Outlook Preview you will find loads of disappointed users (and probably loads of happy users!)

Use the Thunderbird email client, it works very well. Make sure you set it up for IMAP with outlook.com and not POP.
