Civil Service Unsocial hours pay.....unsure

I have an interview for a job within the Civil Service which is part time, 4 evenings a week 5pm til 10pm. Does anyone know what time enhancements would kick in for unsocial hours? Is it 7pm? And what % in addition to basic pay is attracted for such hours?
I'm having to look very carefully whether it's financially viable for me before surging ahead any further and wasting both their time and my own.

This is in the wrong section.
I'm also in the civil service, in my department and I've heard it's been rolled out all over, they brought a new contract out called MEC (modern employment contract) which basically screwed everyone big time.
Unless your department pays an extra payment you won't get a penny, I'm contracted to a max of 50hrs per week between 06:00-22:00 mon to sat, we get an extra payment, it's not your normal salary, you still pay tax and NI on it, but no pension contributions.0 -
Apologies for posting in the wrong section.
Thanks for the warning Dan83. I have been informed that the post attracts enhanced pay after 1900. I shan't be banking on that in future if there's a distinct possibility of it going, as in many other sectors.0 -
What part are you joining?
From my experience of the civil service, there is wide spread bullying and corruption. You will have to be really good mates with your managers/supervisor to get any where, unless your family.0
