Unauthorised debit from my account!

Hello, i'm looking for some advice on an incredibly embarrassing problem!
I noticed an unautorised debit on my account last night, and I called my branch immediately. It was for £20 and I am certain that I didn't authorise it.
It thought my bank would be able to sort it out, but I spoke to a young lady who told me that the money had been debited by a payment website used exclusively to pay for acess to "adult" material! I was mortified, and told her that i had not made any payment to any such website, but she told me that she couldn't help. She made it fairly clear that she doubted my truthfulness, but told me I could raise the matter today with another department within the bank.
After I spoke to her, I went onto the payment website and managed to cancel a subscription which had been taken out using my bank account number and email address.
I'm very concerned that my identity has been used in this way, but now that i have managed to cancel this, i'm tempted just to let the matter rest, rather than report to my bank again. My only worry is that more money may be withdrawn.
Has anyone else ever had anything like this happen to them? I'd appreciate any advice!

Did you get the money back that was debited ? Speak to the bank again and say your disputing a transaction.
Check your credit files for anything that shouldn't be on there.0 -
