Paper work for accounts which I only opened to switch away to other accounts for he bonus, never really used the account, never paid any fee's or anything, do I need to keep all the paperwork for opening/closing the account, or can it just be shredded

I wouldn't bother keeping the paperwork, but I would keep a written record of Bank, sort code & account number, date opened, date switched, where switched to, and any SOs or DDs on it.
