Change of Circumstances

I have been offered a new job. I claim housing benefit as my wife works but on a low income. She is being made redundant in 4 weeks but i have been lucky enough to get a fulltime job to compensate. It seems we will still get a little help with our rent. What date do I report the change of circumstances? The day I actually start work/earning or do i report it now?.
