I am looking to buy a tablet. It is mainly to watch films and browse online so looking to go fo one of teh cheaper ones.
I am trying to figure out if there are any tablets that support the most up to date current version of Adobe Flash and not like Android where you can only install something like 2012 version.
Thanks a lot

An epic fail by Adobe. However, there are a few 3rd party Flash plugins for Android that do the same job.
Adobe made a huge mistake in stopping Android support for Flash as they believed that Android would not become an OS in major use. They were wrong.Never Knowingly Understood.

"Adobe made a huge mistake in stopping Android support for Flash"
Why? Flash is dead in mobile and tablet: iOS doesn't, and won't support it, so anyone who builds a flash-based website has already made it clear they don't care about not supporting phones and tablets. It's a hideous security mess, and in particular after the RSA hack Adobe are putting their (massive revenue) from Illustrator, etc, at risk by compromising their reputation over a side-issue like Flash that they don't care about. Adobe would quite like to kill Flash, and supporting it on Android would be pure cost for little return.
"They were wrong."
In dropping support for an obsolete security nightmare that is only used by legacy desktop websites and no-one has started using from scratch for many years? Sounds like a smart move.0 -

maybe they jut realise flash is dead, html5 is the gfuture and there's no point beating a dead horse.
expect them to come up with a html5 developent suite in future.0 -
Windows is the only platform that supports Flash, and comes in tablet form. Plenty of 7/8 inch Windows tablets around for <£100.0

Also I have contacts in the creative industry and have been told that there just arent many people learning flash any more. If yu're a young web interactive content developer you dont want to be learning flash0

Why do Channel 5 OD insist on Flash 15 before you can watch any of the ads which precede their programmes?
Doesn't make commercial sense.0 -
