TSB Monthly Saver

Hi All,
I'm curious as to whether I can open a TSB Monthly saver account.
I currently have a 'Classic plus account' with the bank which I keep 2K in to get the max interest out of it, I transfer money in and out each month of my 'real' current account (santan).
So my account with TSB isn't my current account in the sense that I didn't switch my actual current account when I opened this one.
So my question would I still be eligible for a TSB monthly saver?
Cheers!

I have 2 classic accounts in my name and a joint one with hubbie with 2K in each and a monthly saver for hubbie and 1 for me-good interest rates on both, and it is not my main current account. Thanks TSB.

I am in same situation as you I have a TSB account to take advantage of the interest on it. I also have a their 5% savings account to take advantage of that.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

As others have said: yes. I opened mine last month (having had the current account for c. 6 months) via my online banking page. The monthly saver opened instantly but I couldn't deposit in it until the next day (although you can later change the date of your standing order).0

You don't have a 'real' current account and a 'fake' current account. You have two current accounts, one of which qualifies you to have a TSB monthly saver.I currently have a 'Classic plus account' with the bank which I keep 2K in to get the max interest out of it, I transfer money in and out each month of my 'real' current account (santan).
