Balance Transfer between Euro and Sterling

I have a Euro credit card from which I would like to do a balance transfer to a Sterling credit card (i.e. I would like to apply for a UK credit card which allows me to do a balance transfer from Euros)...is this possible?

Only if you get a UK cc that allows you to balance transfer to your current account.

You won't find any that will balance transfer directly.

Are you a UK national or have you been here for more than 3 years.
If not you won't get a credit card in this country?

You would be hit with exchange rate charges and I would suggest you would be far better paying off the euro card in euros. I don't know where your card was issued? If you have trouble clearing the balance, loans are available at lower interest rate in Spain than UK.

I am an Irish citizen and the card was issued in Ireland, now living in Northern Ireland (which deals in Sterling, thus the problem!)
