Asda absolutely Useless

Last week I ordered a grocery shop online for click and collect at my local Asda to collect after work. I turn up and after 30 minutes of 'hanging on, were trying to find it' they finally realise it hasn't arrived. They did apologise and offered to have it delivered to my home a few hours later.

That never arrived, got a phone call to say we dont have the goods to deliver we will refund you and £10 voucher applied to your account as goodwill. Im still waiting for the refund but hey its £30 it's not going to put me on the streets. I can wait (7-10 working days) and the £10 was a nice surprise.

I still need groceries so decide to order online but this time to my home address as I didn't want to risk the same mistake again. So I Booked delivery for today between 5-6pm.

Nothing arrived so phone the call centre in god knows where? 'oh you wasn't in' was their response 'yes I was' I get told to hang on I'll see what's happening they #!#@ing Hang up.

I called them back still very calm at this point to be told oh yeah there's a system fault expect delivery between 8-10. I ask can they deliver sooner as I am out of formula milk and need it asap for next feed at 9ish.

Yes will be with you at 8. #stillwaiting

So now I have to drive to the nearest supermarket and get some formula.

Whilst I sympathise to a certain extent, I cannot believe that anybody would totally depend on a supermarket delivery for their baby's next feed, especially in light of Asda's earlier unreliability.

It was more of a fact that we knew we were getting low, we weren't completely out at that point and thought the milk would last a few extra feeds. But realised without that delivery there wasn't enough for the next feed.

I went to local express Asda ( two others there complaining about deliveries) explained situation and they gave me a tin of SMA. Luckily I did as 9pm rolled around and I phoned Asda again to be told no we aren't going to deliver this to you tonight.

I went to store which had my delivery which is 30 mins drive away and collected it myself as I didn't trust I would receive my refund. I spoke to a manager there and was promised a call back from the manager Who deals with deliveries first thing today which hasn't happened.

Now I just want a refund from my original click and collect last week.

Lol every other post of yours is either 1st world problems or think of the children. Was a different story when you didn't get your JSA # hypocrite. Also if reading first world problems irritates you I suggest you stay away from the vents forum as war torn refugees tend not to post much.

So you didn't actually HAVE to drive to the nearest supermarket to get your child formula, contrary to what you said earlier.

My local is about 2 miles away so no didn't have to drive but with weather as it was I did drive
