iPhone is going in for a new screen tomorrow, and I have a lot of personal stuff and details on there, stupid question but how do I make it so that the contents of it can't be accessed please?
Is it possible?

Is it all on the SIM and/or storage card?
If yes, then remove them before it goes for repair.
If not, then can you transfer the details to a removable storage media?0 -

I've never understood how that happened. Everyone else who goes to PCW for a repair gets their hard drive wiped, whatever the fault is:DNo free lunch, and no free laptop

If it is screen-locked, how can 'personal stuff' be accessed without unlocking it first?0
-
Yes, wipe it. All the, ahem, 'good stuff' will be passed around and posted on Facebook etc.0

Not all of us are familiar with the finer details of iPhones as some of us are not suckered by clever marketing of heavily over priced products.
