Yes I know its just plain stupidity I could put the entire lot in a bag and have to job done in 5 minutes instead of torturing myself needlessly - not having supermarket carrier bags does not help so it has to be bin bags.
I think its the old thing in my head that books are precious, we had very few at home growing up as we were dirt poor so when our kids were little I stuffed the house with them, books in every room. The result is me still trying to downsize the kids books years after the youngest has left the nest.
Deep sigh
I am getting a lot better at this letting go though - bag of books to Oxfam and a box of bric a brac on Saturday, clothing into the cloth bin and more books went into the book bank - it's going to be a long slow job though
I feel your pain mhoc, I'm in the very same boat. As a child I had loads of books and loved reading so my 4 boys were brought up the same way. Books in every room almost.
I did a clear out when dh emptied the loft of boxes and bags full of children's school work, reports, books, toys and artwork and Birthday cards from the age of 1  After sorting it into 4 piles each child was given the chance to take their stuff to their own homes. Of course ds4 is still here so his went into one of the spare bed rooms and is still there  of the other 3 children 1 took his away to look through, the other 2 looked at theirs here and said they didn't want to keep any of it  so most was disposed of there and then
A downstairs cupboard was stuffed to the ceiling with toys, some of my family history stuff and jigsaw puzzles of mine. I have cleared some but I'm at a point where I'm finding it hard to make the decision of what to keep and what should go. A box went to the children's society charity shop with a mixture of board games, puzzles, clothes if mine and toiletries
Oh what to do. I'm going out with ds3 later that will surely clear my head so I can make a fresh start

wondering about getting some spices if i decide to try a wine shop can someone confirm if i have worked this out correct
according to MSM paprika & hot chilli powder are £1.58 in A comparing to £1.15 in S so i spend £2 and after APG they are 92p for the 2
1.58 - 1.15 = 43 + 11 = 54p return for each product
TIA0 -

TIAQuite a few should compare to S. at £1.15 each, so after apg should cost 91p for two.:)
This is what I worked it out as.:)N1LDA:D0
