Good on you for doing the "big" stuff as well as the penny stuff TM. I had a Nationwide account that paid good interest for a year which has just run out, so I've used a link Martin had which should give me £150 for moving to First Direct. Once I have the free cash and get a couple of DDs set up, I'll probably switch again as there's no interest on the First Direct account. We've also just changed our gas and electricity suppliers. Doing these kind of things makes me feel like a grown up :D

Thank you - I have just investigated and found that I haven't got a Tesco Current Account, I've got an Instant Access Savings account. Very little in it as its only set p for the DD's on my other account - but its only paying 0.6% so I obvioucly need to open a current ccount for the 3% interest. I will get to grips with it in the morning. Thanks again.

I've had a week of it hg with some highish paying interest accounts coming to an end and a renegotiation on the utilities.

On with setting up Bank of Scotland accounts now. Could be a long night:)

Can't recall who posted the chips at Waities, but seen on another site that the same 5 for £6 deal has these £2.30 4 pack chicken fillets in it...
    http://www.waitrose.com/shop/DisplayProductFlyout?productId=53901
Makes it 20 fillets for £6 (with the free newspaper and coffee thrown in for card holders?)
I've managed to get these today and the deal is on and totally works. :TThe SEL didn't mention the 5 for £6 offer on the chicken but it went through the till no problem.

Also found more 30p Funky fishcakes. For Scottish readers, the N**ton M**rns store had loads in the end of aisle freezer, no SEL
