  • I'm trying to think of ideas to raise money for my sons scout groups hall. The roof has leaked badly with the rain over the last few months and the render has blown on on one side. The carpet was sodden and ruined when we went in after half term :(

Just looking around and thought of crowdfunding! Not sure which website to use though. Justgiving charges 1.5% on top the credit card charges!

Always set smoke alarm off when making mash least I know when they cooked :D Always do that.

I have even burnt pan boiling eggs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Also done.
I can beat that. My son managed to burn his cornflakes. He put milk in them and put them in the microwave for 5 minutes

He did better than me, I forgot to put the milk in, the cornflakes were welded to the bowl, that went in the bin quick.

Can anyone remember when we had cheap red berry porridge ages ago? I found a box dated end 2014, made it into Flapjacks last week and it was really nice.

May have to do the same with my expensive boxes from today....

Bag packing is a good fund raiser especially if it is for a local cause. Get little brothers and sisters involved too by holding the buckets if often gets a cute factor for people to dig into their pockets. ;)

One supermarket let the kids from the club help pack bags but they could not ask for money at the checkout, we stood on the way out and outside with a poster and buckets for the cause.

I fill the pan with water, add a handful of Daz and bring it to the boil. Never failed me yet. :)
