Sorry AJ I should have posted a pic of my mantra card too. :o

It is a really good price for leather boots, the tan ones are still £50 before discount so they would be £40 compared to £24 for these chocolate ones. My black leather boots from DP are really comfortable, they have a slight heel compared to these but the leather is lovely and soft.

That's what tempted me, the soft leather but I'm not buying anything else for a month, or a week or two :D
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Left to right ... as the door must be on the other side?

    When's your birthday? ;)

Evening all, finally home from work today. Managed to score a lot of Uncle Ben's rice/chilli pots and slim fast spag bol pots for free. People at work should never utter the words 'but what if we don't get rid of all this stock?!' Could not help but think of you all. We would clear them out in under a minute :rotfl: In other random news met Ant and Dec at my second job today. Proper nice and polite they were too :)

Hugs to those in need :grouphug:

    Day after mine

  • Pd hope your neighbour is improving.

Do you have a good rocky road recipe please. Needs to be OK out of fridge.

No improvement with my neighbour :( His wife is convinced he's going to go this weekend so to speak. The doctors said the part of his brain that has effectively died means if he does pull through he'll be paralysed all over. I've known that man my whole life, it's been all a bit sudden really. She's being rather detached and I can't say I blame her. Their son died suddenly 20 years ago when he was 25, in his dad's arm on New Year's eve from Marfan syndrome (he didn't know he had it). I took some cake round to her yesterday and she inferred that compared to losing her son, nothing would be as bad as that. It's all a bit strange at the moment.

Regarding a rocky road recipe, I don't have one but this one is pretty good: http://www.josblueaga.com/2014/08/rocky-road-tiffin.html

It's a bus, not a crab .....so it is neither going left/right or right/left. It is either going forward or backwards
