Womble vs T - not for us to buy as it is still worse than buying in M at £1:

3x Chicago Town The Pizza Melt Pepperoni (182G) £6.00 £3.75

They almost managed to make A more expensive on their shop. But, yes, they lost all of that difference. Would have been so much better if they had not bought these:

1x Belvita Breakfast Biscuits Cocoa with Choc Chips (300G) £1.00 £2.59:(
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Red Seedless Grapes (500G) £1.50 £2.00:p

So, we get the Belvita transferred into being obtained for about £2.33:(.

    Vs M:
3x Chicago Town The Pizza Melt Pepperoni (182G) £6.00 £5.94:(

Ruddy full price SELs in main aisles with offer signage of £1 showing only on the aisle end freezers with stock:p. I'm sorry to sound like making excuses for the APG team again. I believe they collect their prices from the main aisle runs and not from the aisle ends. On occasions like this one, there would be nowhere they could collect the £1 price from as it is literally signage with £1 rather than any scannable BC SEL. We can see the signage clearly, but getting it into a computer system where there is nothing that can be scanned there doesn't seem possible! I have no idea why it seems Ms generally have full price on price labels sometimes, in main aisles, when stock on the end is showing the offer (on places that can't be scanned:(). I had the opposite the other day in one M on the Penguin bars - stock on the end said £1 (which I did not like and there was a scannable label for one of the versions in that case) but main aisle has 67p:). Yes, I have had issues over working out the Chicago Melt price in M, due to full price SELs in some stores but they do clearly seem to be £1 from the aisle end freezers (and from occasional other stores)!

This is why I said might have been safer vs T - although T went up from the £1 price that it was some time ago:(, leaving only the failed M comp. that now turns into "buy in M" (assuming this offer is even still on tomorrow - might have been last day today by now). M should have been cheaper on the shop as well:(, assuming the rest of their comp. is right, and should have been £2.11 APG against M rather than the £1.77 vs T that it gives. So that what I think to be incorrect price does make a difference. Said they were more than 10% cheaper than M on the comparables in the shop, when in fact in reality it seems to me that M would be cheaper if the items had actually been bought there.

Meanwhile, somebody today has spent over £300:eek::eek: on one shop in A. Biggest spend I have ever had - now, how much APG do you think it will give?

You must have a massive boiler:D

Who was it who used to say mahoosive or something like that for when things were really big. Or am I making that up. :o

    Afternoon all,

Just popped in with a cuppa. :coffee:

Mountain of ironing this morning and still not finished. Had to do a bit of sewing to mend a shirt Mr TS wanted to take with him, oh my goodness my eyes are bad couldn't see to thread the needle even with my glasses on.

Anyway got him on train ok and as there was an As next to the station I popped in to look for loo rolls but no Shades Quilted 16s. :( Somehow I managed to spend £20 on not that reduced whoopsies. :o

So just sat and had a lovely scone with jam and whoopsied clotted cream. Used up a little jar of jam I must have picked up at a hotel somewhere. :rotfl:

Can't stop as have bed to make, no one had bothered to do it while I was ill  and I finally got round to stripping it this morning it was well overdue. :o And no washing up has been done since our late meal last night. :o:o Obviously I can't ask DD3 with one arm out of action and DD2 has essay deadline looming.

So enjoying my cuppa before my chores. Thought Sunday was meant to be day of rest. ;)

And my whoopsie friend tells me that from the start of the financial year, reductions will be done mid afternoon and then taken off the shelves at some point to distribute to charities. New manager apparently:o

Got some of the bin liners...80 for 20p...... Got a bit dazed looking for cling film as aau kept popping up:eek:

64p - hopeless:(. Not my idea of an £11.56 shop! They even bought Penguin bars too, but in a rather useless manner (why mix and match with Fox's Rocky Bars:huh: that are rather expensive £1 at M? Either get two Penguins packs and compare against 67p x2, which is a very very good price, or miss the mbuy and buy just one pack of Penguins! They have no idea what they are doing).

Lost again:(:( - as the best comp. is vs M and the Carrots are N/A:mad: (really 43p in M). It seems that a brief change in size in M from 1Kg to 2Kg for a very short period a few months ago has caused the 1Kg carrots to go N/A - I have not seen them comparing against M ever since:(. Not 10% cheaper:p.:rotfl:

10 items on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda morrisons
    1x Warburtons 6 Soft Brown Sandwich Thins (6PK) £1.00 £1.00
    1x ASDA Freshly Frozen Broccoli Florets (1KG) £0.95:( £1.17
    1x Colman's Cottage Pie Recipe Mix (45G) £0.65 £0.74
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Sweet Potatoes (1KG) £1.10 £1.25
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection British Carrots (1KG) £0.47 N/A:mad:
0.15x ASDA Grower's Selection Loose Onion (order by number of onions or select kg) (PER KG) £0.09 £0.10
    1x Fox's Rocky Cookie Bars Chocolate Chip (10X10G) £1.00:( £1.00
    1x McVitie's Penguin Original (8X24.6) £1.00 £0.67
1x ASDA Frozen for Freshness Garden Peas (1KG) £1.30 £1.71
    1x Capri-Sun Orange Juice Drink (6X330) £2.95 £2.92
    1x Revels Pouch (126G) £1.00 £1.00
Comparison total (compared products only) £11.04 £11.56
    cheaper +0.52

£1.30 for 1Kg of Garden Peas or 32.4p for 1.8Kg a number of weeks ago (all too briefly:() against S? Obviously, 1Kg now:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!:wall: (And 1.8Kg will no longer work:(.)

Never mind - they pay £1 for the Penguins pack, and then have to pay £1 for the Fox's Rockys as well (another too high price IMO), whilst I get my Penguins for 10% off 67p and at a slightly better price than the good prices on 24 pack Penguins elsewhere.:)

The £300+ shop got no APG btw. I'll try and post the comps. later - some prices a number of pounds cheaper elsewhere (not necessarily good for us though;)) - and others a number of pounds cheaper at A:( (probably when mbuys bought I think).
