Good afternoon Elite. Hope everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so, or indeed anyone who needs one on this rainy Saturday.

Would you rather go to an academic discussion or an art exhibition?

You might have thought I would put the former. However, I would not be able to hold my own, would lose my thread of argument and would have to prepare a great deal. I would be better setting out arguments in writing. Therefore, I chose the art exhibition instead, even though I am not a huge fan of art - I assume they mean visual art such as paintings/pictures - I am not a good artist at all - I can draw but it looks complete rubbish - interestingly, I can draw maps, with fineness and detail, very well indeed - so I could have been a cartographer but not a painter/drawing artist - but I chose the quiet life of just going around an exhibition and browsing. It ought to be academic discussion - I'm certainly bright but the social interaction is the problem - and going round a gallery and having a look can be quite nice:).

EDIT: Left brain symbolic. 56% vs 44%.

I know what you mean. I would probably prefer the discussion but it said 'go to' ie attend in person. Which means having to sit there probably in a not very comfortable seat and probably disconcertingly close to others, and pay attention to every single bit whilst having been put in that physical position of endurance. So I chose art exhibition solely based on the freedom of movement available, and freedom from timetable as you can take a break at will.

Looks like we're all pretty much balanced though - a variance of up to 6-9% either way can't really be called conclusive.

Just seen Enterprise's results. They are more definite!

Afternoon all - it's not stopped raining all afternoon :(

I've been sorting through a pile of OHs train and plane books plus some of mine resulting in a good bag full for the Oxfam book shop we have locally and some for listing on Amazon - most are at least 20 years old so they have re sale value again.

Needless to say the books for processing pile is now much neater but strangely it's no smaller ...

OH got hot cross buns from Morrisons and again they are an assortment of shapes and sizes so I weighed them and the smaller ones are 44g and the biggest 70g. This makes no sense as I am assuming a machine cuts them up, everything is mechanised these days - eggs, apples etc come pre packed in similar sizes.
They don't make buns from scratch in store, just baked and packed up.
I've sent them a photo via twitter and I also messaged them on FB with a photo.
OH said the salt and pepper buns were the same but he was doing lunch and I was pre occupied so I didn't notice.

The same thing happened last year so whatever is going wrong with their quality control still has not been fixed.

Ok I am going to have a go - any guesses as to what my results might be - I am thinking mainly left brained

    Yes 67% left brain

One question was all wrong about which eye to close - with me it has to be the right one as I cant see nothing from the right eye :)
