Also these days celebs tend to not make public announcements about their illnesses, they just fade from the line light and the first anyone knows is the public announcement afterwards“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Apologies for my unauthorised absence:o

I wll be back this evening and look forward to catching up with all of you:T including pms:)
Missed you all loads:smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea
Anyway ....what are you lot doing here.....you should be out shopping:cool:
No unauthorised absence noted as it was half term.
We have missed you too TM, no one to sniff those paws every morning. :eek:0 -
I've been to sainsbobs this morning to get some cashback things. The Schwartz sachets are still 50p so I got 5 of them.
I also went to get the yeo yog which according to mysupermarket is £1.50 but in my store the SEL was £2:mad:
Has anyone managed to get the yogurt at £1.50? It has £1 cashback so £1.50 was acceptable and you could get one of each flavour.
We also took the recycling up. Even though it's technically en route to the local council facilities people tend to abandon various items at our Sainsburys recycling and we have collected some interesting bits over the years.
Today OH collected a white wooden framed mirror he wants to put at the end of his train layout in the loft (don't ask) also 3 paperbacks which were relocated straight into the Oxfam book bank bin - some idle people shove them into the cardboard recycle bin. I also got 3 biscuit tins which I will put on Freecycle, people are always looking for nice biscuit tins to put their home baked goodies into and I've got a few to add as well. One tin was shaped like an old fashioned transistor radio so I might keep that if I can think of a use for it.
Not a single till spit again today“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
We do like to live dangerously on the Elite :rotfl:
I'm living life on the edge at the moment mhoc with a larder to clear in around 4 weeks before it is gutted.
Could do with a bit of Elite help if I'm honest as it's all too OOD for the food bank.
DD3 had a tin of strawberries in the week 2013. I haven't been shopping as such so it is forcing everyone to raid the larder. All the in date chocolate and biscuits are already safely stashed in the sideboard in the hall.
Being forced to empty is has made me feel rather embarrassed how much is actually stashed in there. Course I spread out to the garage when that was built.0 -
Thank you Snap for posting that toothbrush, just been out and got one
Also picked up a Peppa Pig swan and a set of 5 once upon a time characters for £2.50 each which is to my mind what they should be in the first place! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
