I love a Bread & Butter pudding made with brown bread
I also do a savoury one, I used chive cream cheese the last time it was gorgeous

    Cheesy Bread Pudding

    4 Slices Bread
    Cream Cheese
    ½ Chopped Onion
    25g/1oz Grated Cheese
    2 eggs
    550ml/ 1pt Milk
    Seasoning
    2 Rashers Bacon Chopped (optional)

Spread bread with cream cheese and cover with the onion and cheese cut in triangles and place in dish.
Whisk the eggs, milk & seasoning pour over bread leave 10-20 Min to allow the bread to absorb the liquid. Bake at170oC 30-40 Min

We've had a savoury one before too but hadn't thought to use cream cheese so thank you for the recipe. I tend to throw some halved cherry tomatoes in as well.

    Good Morning. :)

Well I managed to disgust my DD this morning, apparently we have mouldy milk in the fridge.

I then said but I just had it on my breakfast and yesterday too. She said it's well out of date (12th Feb :o), I said I know and I did try it first. ;) No dates on milk bottles when I was a little un. :D

I didn't like to tell her the special k I'd eaten went OOD Aug 2014. :o:eek::rotfl:

Morning all, we were going to Chester but decided it was too bitter cold so now we are not.

Mind you OH just looked at his weather app it said York 7 degrees and our village 46 degrees
I said to him to screen shot it but he was not quick enough :(

In the meantime I had an Orchard email last night but it was still valid this morning so I am now on the flowers campaign :j
I am slightly confused, will they send a voucher in the post?
It gives a code for tesco.com shops but surely that is a general code and it could be used by anyone more than once????

for click and collects now its - £40 min shop - I suppose you could always buy an overpriced toothbrush

I signed up to the fresh flowers program back in January and had my £5 voucher arrive over a week ago. It has a code for flowers from Ts direct on it so I don't think there is minimum spend.

In the small print it says the clubcard you are registered with for Orchard must be same as registered to your Ts direct account to enable you to use the code online.

You also get 3 x £1 coupons for family/friends that are instore only.

only a few stores are trialling wonky veg..mine is but they didn'y get a delivery. Guy said its a bit hit and miss when/if they arrive.

I see on HUKD that no one has actually confirmed the glitch. Maybe everyone is having trouble finding them.

    afternoon
just caught up from yesterday & want to thanks everyone for the Elite love xx we were due to get his ashes back today but last night DS2 was very concerned that we were going to scatter his ashes rather than get them in a wooden box with his name on like we did with our first dog so we've now phoned the pet crematorium to change that so will get him back tomorrow instead :o

has anyone got the pizza deal today? it should still work shouldn't it? thanks :)
