    Try filling the tin to the edge and maybe even higher at the sides than the middle. Also some water and sugar solution to moisten similar to lemon and sugar for a lemon drizzle cake.

    If you were covering you could just trim it.

    For Savvy -

    I've just come back from M and they were selling -

    Wonky potatoes 5kg bag, £2
    Wonky onions 2kg bag, 58p
    Wonky carrots 1.5kg bag 50p.

    Thought they may be useful for your M lists :)

    There is nothing obviously "wonky" about any of the veg. Some may be a bit small but that's about it. If that's what they call wonky then I'd hate to see what they'd call the veg I grow :rotfl:
    Also wonky cauliflowers for 72p. I bought one on principle. It looks fine.
