Used to be most decent banks will give you the option of a non-contactless card (although I had no luck with FDirect who declared to me proudly they are a contactless bank); failing that, if you're brave you can disable contactless http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Disable-Contactless-Payment-on-Your-Debit-C/ Do so at your own risk!!0 -

before anyone goes into spasms re twitter - on the Elite we are constantly reporting glitches, freebies, offers, coupons, bargains on an hourly basis.
this person maybe does a few tweets per month and has 37 followers - so why is anyone getting upset?
Twitter is the equivalent of standing in the market place and shouting out and seeing if anyone sees and hears you. if you want privacy then you set up a private FB group and get people to apply to join.
I don't think anyone is upset, but if anyone WERE upset it would be best for the thread if they voiced their upset over on twitter
