I have a contactless card but I refuse to use it as such, then at least if someone tries it on with it I can honestly say I have never used it that way.
Does the statement say contactless when used that way? What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
My Asda has no mention of the £5 meal deal. Is it only specific stores or will the offer come up when scanned at the till?
Thanks
No, all stores so far as I am aware, it comes off at the till - a few stores show "Offer" on the SEL but most don't and it still works.
Website shows it too.

Not so far as I am aware, it just goes through (I haven't noticed that detail, sorry).
I have been subject to cc fraud this month with someone spending on my card in the US even though it was in my pocket and rarely used . To be fair, BCard were on it immediately and stopped the transactions (cards all stopped and replaced within days), but no idea how they got my card details (used online apparently but I don't use this card online - only used a couple of times in the past few months in a few big name stores). Goes to show, check your statements regularly!

my credit card statement lists the transactions separately that are contactless...we have 3 cards linked to one account (1 main cardholder and 2 authorised user cards) and it lists transactions for each person...thats barclaycard...not sure about other providersfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
