2 FOR £3.00Actimel Kids Strawberry & Vanilla
I am uncertain if M. stock this flavour, but it should compare to S. at £1.50 each, so after apg the cost should be £1.14 for 2.
[1] The previous two flavours I posted should also compare to S. at £1.50.
They do, although it was in my 'smaller' store and not my two main stores (on one of my previous collection days). That means nothing though - they might pick it up from 1 of 6 stores - it is more than I had to check before I reached my smaller store. Bigger stores may stock it elsewhere - probably in that bigger store miles away on Monday's collection for me come to think about it. (I didn't need to check as I was happy the range was still £1 in M on Monday from elsewhere.) Should compare to £1 for M, although I've had stores with incorrect SELs too on the Actimel Kids drinks more generally - but again could be completely different situation with the APG stores and may be no problem at all. It should compare against M at £1 but, as ever, it might not.
So, target M but with fillers that don't lose much against Sains (if there is any such thing:eek::() as a back-up in case the M comp. doesn't work.
[1] Well, why not stick with those against M? They may or may not work even against S!:rotfl: Of course they may also may or may not work against M but then maybe the Vanilla version might work but the other two not, who can tell?!?:rotfl::rotfl:
Uncertain, how can you be uncertain? I'm sure. I've got up from the fence and I'm no longer sitting on it here! I do a lot, that is sit on the fence, because I am, of course, objective on everything - but, on this one, I actually have a firm conclusion - and it is that M definitely stocks the Vanilla & Strawberry version. Whether it will be picked up or not is of course a different matter.
I don't see much problem with the Actimel Kids comparing against £1 M (famous last words again) because "it's not as if they are obscure items is it?" Then again, they pick up some obscure things and fail to compare against well-bought popular items sometimes:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. I suppose they may have any obscure items in their six stores that aren't well available elsewhere:rotfl:.0 -
Also finishing today:
Petit Filous Yogurt Pouches and Collective Dairy Suckies 3 for £2 in Asda.

No good comparison on the Petit Filous. The Collective Dairy Suckies should give a small return v Sainsbobs, 3 for £2 in Asda. Peach & Apricot and Strawberry Flavours. £2.37 + 10% v £1.80.0 -
Somehow:eek:, I've managed to update the M list again, with all the information I've decided should go on there from Monday and from Saturday (as far as I think it is still on in M).
Post 1557 onwards.

:j :j At last, multi ending on the muller yogurts, Asda offer 8 for £4.00.
What is the chance of the Morries price of 10 for £2.00 being picked up later this morning/today Savvybuyer please?

Absolutely none at all:(.
You can try - [Strike]at least full price A would still be some APG vs expected £6.80 price for M.[/Strike] [EDIT 2 - It wouldn't as A is now 60p each so more than 10% cheaper:(.] I've never known a "10 for..." offer on the Mullers for M ever be picked up. Unfortunately, it's going to be better vs everywhere except M I feel. Best seems to be vs W if buying 10 as they have 3 for £1.50 - so nine at mbuy (if it picks up mix and match and if you buy only comparable versions that W has) plus one at full price. Fortunately, with different flavours, you can get 8 items with just Mullers but it would be absolutely fantastic if vs M at 10 for... ever worked.
(I think we need someone to buy at non-glitch time and try to compare against straight 10 for £2 price for M and then complain to A HQ when, almost inevitably it fails - they need to get this sorted out and for them to tell the price collectors that they need to collect 10 for... offer when it's on in M. It doesn't help, however, that some M store, early doors on Monday, might be displaying previous offer pricing - I had my first one, displaying both the old and new M offers, as they hadn't removed the mbuy offer from last week and just put the new one elsewhere - good job I noticed it!)
EDIT 1: You don't need the one at W full price if buying vs W. Can just buy 9 (with at 8 different ones) - if you think/'know' that M comp. stands no chance.0 -
Thinking aloud. Can't work it out without writing it down somewhere.
Buy 9 vs W.
Is pay £4.00 plus 60p.
Then 9x60p:(:(:( (not as good as it was before) = £5.40 (should be £6.12:p) - £4.50 + 45p. = £1.35:( APG.
£4.60 - £1.35 = £3.25 for 9. Am I right?
It's worse than buying 10 in M!:eek::eek::(
Buy 10 vs W.
Is pay £4.00 plus 60p x2.
£5.20.
Then 10x60p = £6 less (3 for £1.50 x3 = £4.50 + 68p = £5.18) = 82p APG + 52p 10% (Am I doing something wrong - this doesn't look right at all?)
Is £3.86 for 10! Nearly twice the cost of buying in M!
Buy 8 vs W.
Is pay £4.00.
Then 8x60p (I don't like that price at all:() = £4.80 less 2x £1.50 + 68p+68p for W = £4.36. Is 44p + 44p 10% = 88p. Off £4 = £3.12 for 8. That is less costly than buying in M but only because M mbuy is missed, buy a further two in M and your bill there drops immediately to £2, so would be cheaper!
Buy 16 vs T or W.
Pay £8:eek:.
Then 16x60:(p = £10.80 (would have been so much better had they been 68p) vs 12 for £6.00 + 68p x4 (you now lose on full prices vs 68p as 60p is more than 10% cheaper:() = £8.72. About £2.96 APG. Is £5.04 for 16. Is 31.5p:eek: per Muller (worse than even straight 10 for £3 offers that have been in A in the past) and much more expensive per Muller than M's 20p for each of 10.
Buy 18 vs T or W.
Pay £8 + 60p + 60p = £9.20 (only consolation is we are not paying 68ps in the first place).
Then vs 18 for £9. Sees 18 at 60p = £10.80. APG of £2.70 = £6.50 net. cost. Is over 36p:eek: per Muller! Am I doing this right, it really seems wrong. Again, best buying 20 in M for £4 instead of getting 18 from A for £6.50.
Is there a more optimum number? I can't think about it properly at this time of the night. 6x8 = 48?:eek:0 -
It can't say it won't work or will never work against M. (Maybe we need to wait until later in the day as it will certainly stand no chance if the data is still on last week.) However, it has not picked up a 10 for... for M on both of the last two occasions that M had that offer. Third time failure I feel rather than third time lucky. The more different flavours/Mullers you add, the worse the chance of picking up a mix and match between them - as they all have to be the same offer on the system for M. If just one out of ten fails, you get full price M. We've had people trying 10 all the same before and not even that worked against 10 for... at M. If anyone can crack this and manage to pick up 10 for £2 then good luck to you. I don't think it will work.
And, on that sad note, I'm off to get up for the morning (maybe the Actimel Kids) and back to M again:eek::laugh: to see if anything's changed. (Of course, something will have! I am not expecting the Mullers to change in M though.) See you probably much later!:wave:
EDIT: Actually, if the data is still on last Wednesday and you haven't waited long enough, it will probably compare better against M under their old 6 for... offer (as those tend to get picked up) than failing vs M on the Monday data as it will very likely I feel pick up full prices for M and not get the M mbuy 10 for... offer once it updates. So, with the pricing in M now far better (than what it was there last week*), the comp. against M I think is likely to get worse.
*When taking account effective price for each one when buying whichever different mbuy number was on the offer at each time.0 -
