    Evening ALL!:)

    Monday's Teaser ;)

There is a school with 1,000 students and 1,000 lockers. On the first day of term the headteacher asks the first student to go along and open every single locker, he asks the second to go to every second locker and close it, the third to go to every third locker and close it if it is open or open it if it is closed, the fourth to go to the fourth locker and so on. The process is completed with the thousandth student. How many lockers are open at the end?

999 because by the time the headteacher explained what was happening and the first student set off, the rest of the students decided they weren't having any of it, and locked the headteacher in the first locker.

So from the fourth student onwards they don't actually need to do anything with the lockers...just go to it?

    I'm going with 499

Welcome home VT....lovely to have you back. Your house move seems to have come around really quickly:eek: so hope you are rested after your holidays. Have some fun with N and remember that it will all come together in the end. It always does....it has to:rotfl:
Before you turn around you will be enjoying your champagne on Thursday evening in your lovely new home :T

Thank you TM missed you all but despite free wife on holiday I couldn't really drag myself away from my kindle. Anyone who has not read it The Anzac book is an amazingly fascinating read. Didn't read war and peace but I have now watched last two episodes and was thrilled there was a happy ending.
Holiday was fab with unseasonably good weather and no wind.

As house goes nothing will stay on plan. BT told me on 23 Jan my line would be in today. Oh no it won't. .... customer complaints due to ring Thursday. Due to have to not work to be ready for there call this morning a days wage was lost. They are getting complaints to ring me on 18th to appease me. I want a days missed was which is approx 12 months line rental, then as compensation I am aiming at free broadband and tv for a year.

N came over 12.30 is and was my motivation buddy and boy did we achieve a lot.
Fitted wardrobe ready for removal men to hang my clothes in there boxes. 3 bags going to charity but a dam good sort out. Then we did the glory hole. Delighted at unusual things found. N's son how h's posh hair wax and some 12 pence sets. N got quite a few bottles of chardonnay as well as a cornucopia of things which she could use.
2 days today and not feeling ready but I feel in control again which has come from N. Also further offers to help so will not be alone at Al.

Situation trying to find out if can either put door on washing machine or integrate it. Depends on the spaces left.

This time next week I will be waiting for dd and dgd to come and unpack and see if I have bought stuff to new house I need not have done.

Off to look at washer options along with a new double bed and sofa. If I can get a good enough price I want them all now. Dishwasher can wait a while for.
Oh and still not measured if wardrobe will fit. Will do tomorrow's packing then take a tape measure over and check.

PD if you are about I am after a good rocky road recipe which I can cut into bars to put in goody bags. Must be firm enough to cut into squares and wrap up.

    Thanks x
