Thank you for the well wishes...
Last week we took our cat to the vet for routine boosters to be told that she has an accelerating heart murmur...it wasnt there 3 months ago but has progressed to a level that is now quite worrying. We are therefore monitoring her breathing rhythms for the next week in order to prepare her for a heart scan etc etc.....the results of which will give a better indication of the way forward....
....knowing everything we have been through recently and the bond she had we can't help but think that quite simply she has a broken heart...

what do the other cat owners of the thread think...is it possible or just a coincidence that this might be happening now....do pets react to a very sudden change in circumstance.....?

My cat was once diagnosed with a heart murmour, they were a little worried about the anaesthetic he needed for his op......when he went back post op they could hardly hear it.
Also my son has a young cat who had a cyst and was told he had a heart murmour, once the cyst was all cleared up they couldnt hear it again....was told it was common during bad health and stress.xxxxx

Thanks wendy...the info is very helpful and does back up what the vet has said.
Our cat has always been very fit/healthy and active so to be told that she was being graded at 4 possibly 5 in the 6 point scale was a shock.

    Afternoon everyone.

    LEJC ((((hugs))))

Dropped a printer on my foot last night, think I have broken 2 toes, they are very swollen, and now turning a lovely colour.

Tweets, the result was just under £10! :T:T

Thank you. And it was only just over a mile from home but not in a direction I go in very often which is why I hadn't noticed it before.

Will definitely do that again. They only rejected a baby blanket and a pair of socks (they don't do socks, apparently.)

    All helps. :T:T

:j:j:j Glad I thought about the shop when I saw your post .

Very :money::money::money: better than throwing in clothes bank ;)

The one near me is down the road on the way to Mr T but last time I did a clear out I couldn't carry all bags due to being heavy so I rang them to come and collect and got nearly £15 :T

Like doctors, vets see a worst case scenario...its their job.
You could easily find its down to a 2 or even less in a few weeks, keep positive and keep fussing him, cats need plenty of hugs too xxx

I thought the OP said that the problem was a 'known fault' with this printer model ? If so, then shemight not have too much trouble to prove the fault.

True, but it depends on what the known fault is exactly (and who "knows" it) and I don't think the OP specified either.

Besides, I wasn't replying to the OP :p I was replying to someone who wrongly said the Sale of Goods Act provides a 2 year warranty
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen
