Oh tweets this made me smile..I must say I have never been afraid living on my own since I lost DH and had never even contemplated an alarm until several burglaries in the area and was recommended by the police to get one .Because it was a freebie :money: I said yes;)and am getting used to it now and quite easy to operate thank goodness ...0 -
Printer has packed in after only 14 months. Really annoying as it is a known fault with this model and the warranty runs out after 1 year. Have messaged HP, but I'm not holding out much hope.
Any recommendations for good printer deals? Needs to be printer/scanner/copier and preferably HP.
I thought you got a 2 year warranty under the sale of goods act. Retailers don't tell you that but it's the law. I've always quoted it & it's worked so far. Good luck.0 -

Does it take a normal SD card? If so have you got a card slot that you can plug it straight in to? That's what I do with my card from my camera (different camera but same idea).
That is assuming you normally plug the camera in?What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

That's good, I have had alarm in since I moved into house.
The only time I get afraid if I watch something like Crimewatch at night then I am frightened of opening door to let Poppy out and let her go upstairs first. So I record such programmes and watch in the daytime .0 -
