A question please.
has anyone every had a refund from United Futilities and if so do they send you a cheque in the post of just put a credit against your account?
I've just though that by the time its processed we will be into March and we will have done the final payment for 2015/2016
(yes there is a story behind this, maybe later ...)“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

MHOC..
I have jus switched from Sainsburys to British Gas (both the same company really but different deals).
I hate Scottish Power with a vengeance as they sent me a bill for 34k when they took over my supply a few years ago. Silly chumps had started my meter reading at 00000 !!!!!!!!
I am a high dual fuel user and spent a good couple of hours looking at kw per hr and standing charge prices before I made my decision.0 -

Had my renewal car insurance through today, been on all the comparison sites, and I have only found it cheaper by about £2.00 and thats with a firm I have never heard of.
OOh have a fab time, this is somewhere I definitely want to go to.
OMG - that cant be right.

some things to check - see if your occupation is correct. One of my sons was wrong, civilian police rather than RMP so when I rang them it made a reduction. The other son still had his down as student/part time kitchen hand so again correcting this brought it down.
see if your annual mileage is correct. We found the quote dropped a bit when eldest son increased his annual mileage - as if it took him from being an occasional user to being a regular driver.
get them to check if lowering or increasing the mileage makes any difference.
see if your excess is correct. Again one of the Elite found that lowering the excess actually improved their quote.
Have you got your correct usage categories down - social and pleasure or commuting. Occasional user or main user?
do you have a 2nd or 3rd named driver on your policy - see if it makes any difference having another named driver as an occasional social user.
We are both on our eldest car insurance as it made no different. Eldest son though we actually made his quote worse being 2nd and 3rd named driver so he is on his insurance on his own so only he can drive his car.
also check that you have the correct number of no years no claims - again we picked up on a mistake a few times.
Eldest son had an accelerated policy to start with so he got one years no claims in 10 months.
We have a multi car policy so when one of ours joined mid year and there was more than 6 months left when the anniversary renewal date came up it was classed as a full year for no claims purposes.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

N1LDA stands for Number 1 ladies detective agency.
It was a name given in jest by TM, to a few of us that have got together to try and work out apg glitches.
It's not in anyway intended to upset people.
As for NILDO, I can't answer that for you. That is down to the op.
Thanks for responding wacky nut , I do remember TM calling a few of that and I can't see why it would upset anybody, I had to go back and do some skim reading as I don't like not knowing what's going on  and from what I have read you are all doing a fantastic job and have made a lot of people happy so a massive well done to everyone involved:T:T:TOne cannot change the past, but one can ruin the present by worrying over the future.0
