:(It is causing issues with msm (which I start from and use to give the descriptions on my M list) and this looks like it is really SP:

    ASDA Vinegar (568ml)

    Store_2.15px.png
    21p 3.7p / 100ml

    • Store_1.15px.png
      39p
    • Store_8.15px.png
      48p
    • Store_3.15px.png
      50p
    • Store_7.15px.png
      50p
    • Store_4.15px.png
      50p

The issue is there because I have this down under the previous online name "ASDA Smartprice Vinegar (568ml)" but am now updating the A side of the M list so in accordance with my strict rule I would go and change it to msm's new description. But... where msm appears to be in error, as appears to be the case on the CBY Chicken Flavour Noodles, which it is describing as SP but showing a picture of CBY, I then use the a.com description since that is correct and it appears msm is wrong.

However... if I now do this on the Vinegar, the Vinegar is described as "ASDA Vinegar (568ml)" on a.com as well, and yet it is SP and I am linking to it to Morrisons Savers?

What I am to do? I can't call it "ASDA Vinegar" as that would imply linked to standard range Morrisons (and standard range "Tesco" as well) if it's really SP. Yet I go by the descriptions online (msm and, if msm wrong, then a.com) mainly in order that people can identify which product I am referring to, so on this one do I go my own way? Do I call it "Smartprice Vinegar"? If you search for "Smartprice Vinegar" on msm or a.com, nothing comes up - so you couldn't identify what item you are supposed to be buying.

    What a dilemma:rotfl:.
I'll leave it at the now anomalous position of being called SP Vinegar on my list, despite the fact that my rule has been that I go by msm's descriptions (mainly historical reasons, plus the fact it's difficult not only to change everything to match a.com but also to use a.com to prepare the list as I can't see the other, non-M competitor prices on there so couldn't tell if it should be on M list or to another competitor or not, and, believe me, if I was using a.com it would take me forever and a day given that it appears to require exact spelling of everything:( and isn't quick like google or msm to some extent - I can mistype things, doing something very quickly and a right item still come up on msm but a.com appears to be strict:().

In case it helps, separately, I had A's Distilled Vinegar (568ml) come up on a womble and it compares against T only at 35p (same price as A). HTH.

SP Vinegar - 21p vs 21p M only - remains on the M list. I don't like calling something a name that now isn't the one on msm or a.com.

People don't realise how much this upsets my accurate, strict technical approach!:( It's... an anomaly:) (that's the only way to settle it:)).

(Msm is now linking it to everywhere else's standard range because a.com now says "Asda" vinegar; however it appears to be SP - and is at the SP price - and therefore should compare against M Savers at 21p - and S Basics at 40p:(.)

asdas £2 one on msm showing for me as £1 at m
    the other ---

Yes, you're right! I was going to say that what you say alters my previous understanding but, now I can see £1 on there, it doesn't. It's in conformity with it.

Of course no-one will have a clue what I'm referring to again:rotfl:. I'm "internally vocalising" something as it's called. Assuming the reader knows all I am thinking, when you don't!

My understanding is that the M products on msm are fixed - that is to say they are the same across all locations and do not change if you are signed it or not - because M has one central website and it is central distribution for online. Therefore, had that not been the case, it could have been that you - in another part of the country - could see something that I could not (depending on what is showing in your local online stores); however I can see the £1 on the A £2 product as well and therefore we are both seeing the same thing. Which accords with my understanding that the M products on msm (while woefully incomplete) do not change on that site depending on where you are.
