Forgive me if this isn't the right thread for an unusual Tesco query. But the Elite are clearly the best informed, most prolific posters, and like doing nice stuff like saving relationships.

We've just had a colourful row about some poxy 4-pack dessert that my other half loves and is convinced we bought in Tesco last week. And is convinced I have eaten them all myself! (I'm pretty sure we didn't buy them).

I haven't got the receipt, but I remember a year or two back going to the Tesco groceries site while logged into our Clubcard account. We have never used online ordering, but idly exploring the process, I found that it would let you auto-fill your online cart by displaying a list of everything you've bought instore for the last few months.

What an eye-opener! I barely remembered half the things we'd bought, but it came in useful planning our next shop. And seeing what your other half had been buying!

So I thought I could find the dessert in question (or establish it's absence) online. Sadly, the feature seems to have gone - the only purchase history I could find was the Favourites/Usuals/Orders/Lists one (all empty in our case) from online orders.

Anyone remember this feature and can confirm it's been removed?

Log into Tesco groceries then click favourites then you can see items by department bought instore or online, it may be there.

Or you could just own up ;)

    :EasterBun

Like Mr TS owned up to drinking the whole bottle of vintage port over a period of time, I thought it was still an unopened bottle in the bottom of the larder.

    2 FOR £2Coca-Cola Bottle(1)

    £1.84

Should compare at T. and M 2 for £2, so after apg should cost 12p for two bottles:):)

All the other cokes in this group appear to be comparing the same.

    Wine!!!

The 6 for £25 wine offer looks to be finishing, but the apg should see full price.:)

There are too many wines for me to go through and compare, but I am sure there will be some good comparisons. Perhaps if anyone finds any they could post them please!

I ought to be informed, in advance, whether my missing cashback claim will be successful too. I bought an insurance policy for over £100, expecting £80 cashback, but - as expected (the window opened up a new screen and that was the only way that it would let me purchase anything:() - the cashback has not tracked:(:(.

I need to know right now, in advance, whether it will be declined or not so I can decide whether to cancel the policy and move to another policy which I could get from somewhere else for about £30 less (but which has no cashback). I don't need anyone here to tell me whether to cancel the policy - I think I will stick with it and risk 'losing' the £30 - but, in a "perfect information" world I would have the information so that I could make proper, fully informed decisions without distorting the way the market should function - and ensuring that the miscreants (which they will become should they eventually decline the cashback) do not get rewarded for their failure whilst their competitors (that would have been cheaper for me in that circumstance) lose out.

The insurance policy already, if I went direct to their website, they wanted to charge me over £70 more!:eek: Only when I went via a comparison site, and forced them to be more competitive, did they put their price down. Obviously I am more risky if I approach them direct and not via any comparison site!:( The woman I spoke to on the phone - in order to work out how to proceed and ensure that I properly did everything exclusively online myself - actually apologised for their rate being much lower via the comparison site. She obviously meant it. Like hell!

It is obviously, IMO, a deliberate tactic by the company to make as much money as possible and make more from people who do not look around. Companies sometimes don't let you use saved quotes. However, there was nothing mentioned in the terms on this one - nothing said I can't (and she suggested they would still give the cashback from a saved quote)! It was the same about windows opening up new screens if I went direct btw - there was no other way. Maybe I don't have much faith in some systems at all, but I expect things not to work and I am therefore not disappointed when they don't.

"We're sorry it didn't work as expected." Well, I expected it not to work and therefore it went entirely according to my low expectation:p:rotfl:. Sadly. ("Bet it won't work!" I thought:(. I'd have been surprised if it had! So I sat around for a week waiting for it not to track, just like I expected it not to! And, guess what, it hasn't:(.)

I hope the next bit works though!
