Rhosynbach, love the dress.
Bubbs, all the best for your op tomorrow, and fingers crossed its not cancelled.0 -
Forgive me if this isn't the right thread for an unusual Tesco query. But the Elite are clearly the best informed, most prolific posters, and like doing nice stuff like saving relationships.
We've just had a colourful row about some poxy 4-pack dessert that my other half loves and is convinced we bought in Tesco last week. And is convinced I have eaten them all myself! (I'm pretty sure we didn't buy them).
I haven't got the receipt, but I remember a year or two back going to the Tesco groceries site while logged into our Clubcard account. We have never used online ordering, but idly exploring the process, I found that it would let you auto-fill your online cart by displaying a list of everything you've bought instore for the last few months.
What an eye-opener! I barely remembered half the things we'd bought, but it came in useful planning our next shop. And seeing what your other half had been buying!
So I thought I could find the dessert in question (or establish it's absence) online. Sadly, the feature seems to have gone - the only purchase history I could find was the Favourites/Usuals/Orders/Lists one (all empty in our case) from online orders.
Anyone remember this feature and can confirm it's been removed?0 -
I wasn't sure about Mentos Rainbow Fruits, but, eh:D, I have that as well - "Mentos Fruits 38g" - aren't I doing well?:)
So it's that, the Twirl and the Twix 50g I've discovered that I need to add onto the list and then I think I may have them all (or maybe not?:rotfl:).
See you later!
EDIT: It does look like the Mentos Rainbow Fruits, which were 43p in M?, have sneaked onto the 2 for £1 offer:( as I have them in the middle of my list of the ones on that offer (or maybe they were on the same shelf and not actually gone onto the 2 for £1:think: - I'm not doing very well after all:rotfl:) - does anyone have the Rainbow Fruits showing as available for them on a.com when signed in as I have them showing OOS for me on msm?
Unfortunately I can't check the store where I found them again tomorrow - and has clear 2 for £1 banner across entire shelving - and will have to use different stores instead (which I don't trust:rotfl:). No-one will be buying any of these items anyway.
No idea, as usual, what may or may not been picked up.0 -

I don't remember this feature myself and I'm quite a buff at tesco online shopping.
I can give you some relationship advice though....
Don't have heated arguments about 4 pack desserts. If they contain chocolate....take them to bed and share them in whatever way floats your boat. Life is too short to argue about desserts or spend all night looking online to see if you bought them and when. in my house, we'd blame it on the dog.
Obviously my tongue is in my cheek here and I hope that if this information is so important to you find it. Don't argue about desserts....lick them off someone's body instead :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I think the Mentoses are each 43p in M, not 2 for £1, as I seem to think I saw 43p in the third store. However, I could be dealing with conflicting price information or SELs not yet changed in one store. It's not always easy to tell what prices products are just from one M (without scanning them). Or even multiple Ms:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Sometimes:(. In fact I think I had 43p in the first store - the 2 for £1 shelving may have covered around it but clearly they would then not be 2 for £1 as that offer confines itself to items that are higher priced. But I don't know why I've written them down in my instore list in the items that are 2 for £1. So, it's another minor failure from me again on a couple of items. I'll check them tomorrow:cool:.
I've now put the Twirl bar on as the final item from this update - phew!:)
I did link to this before - a while ago - but I'll do so again now (obviously well out of date now - this guy visited 140 locations in London):

In fact, that last link, I do see a bit of that in what I do. "...[P]roviding consumers with the information they need for the market to function smoothly." The market theories... zzz, zzz, zzz:rotfl: - assume that people have perfect information. We therefore need to know when prices have been cheaper before and when Hershey's Cookies and Cream bar 43g has gone from 30p RTC after Christmas, up to 71p straight and then onto a still more expensive than 30p 2 for £1 mbuy in M!
We do. I think that, for the market to function properly, with us having the perfect information that we should have but still lack despite my and everyone else's efforts, we should have access to the entire APG data, including every glitch that it contains, in advance of doing any shopping as well as complete information as to the time that any glitch might end so that we can alter our economic behaviour and act in the most efficient way possible for us. We should be informed, at the time we do our shopping, whether the glitch will still work at whatever time we come to check the receipt and be able to reject in advance any shopping on which the glitch would (unknown to us at present but should not be and should be fully disclosed for us to have the perfect information that we are currently wrongly assumed to have) not work.
:rotfl: (That will never happen.)
We should also be informed, in advance, at what moment all places and all competitors will increase their prices and what to and what length of time the new prices will be on and what prices will be on afterwards so that we can shop at the right time as well as be informed in advance if an item on RTC will go to a cheaper still price at any point later, as well as where and when it will do so as well as full and complete historical price data for all outlets in existence or which ever existed. That is the perfect information that we lack! We should have it. Or they should stop assuming that we have it and reformulate their economic theories accordingly.
Goodnight!:):wave:0 -

I'm sorry I don't remember that function at all.
Are you signed up for emails from Ts? I do occasionally get emails from them with offers picked for me that are things I have previously bought instore. Not much help now but it may pop up in the future it is always random.
I also think I have seen mentioned before that if you know date/approx. time of your shop and have details on bank statement of amount that customer service can provide you with a duplicate receipt. Not sure how far you want to go to resolve this one though.0 -
Possible coffee glitch!:)(Only just appeared and this may update and not be glitching by morning.)
The offer looks to be ending on Carte Noire, but apg should see full price.
95G
2 FOR £5.00Carte Noire Wholebean Instant Coffee
£3.99
Should compares to M at £2.17, so after apg two tins should cost 93p:):)Not tested.N1LDA:D0 -
Or you could just own up
