Of four iPad chargers in my house, only one vaguely works in and that's with insulation tape wrapped around the base of the bit that plugs into my iPad

Two just decided they were suddenly going to stop working and the other which was a cheapy replacement I got from Tesco was was more like a trickle charger went "fizz" when I plugged it in. I think the fuse has gone but it's a sealed unit *sigh*

another meal deal tomorrow i wonder if it will give us anything ;)

keep an eye out for the offers if it stays unpopulated

Yer, if it doesn't populate then the hard part is going to be working out what items are in the deal.
So if there are any early birds in A's tomorrow can you keep your eyes peeled please. :)
Would be even better if one of the wines that are on mb at the moment are included in the offer.
    Possible double discount.

I was going to put some of the Colgate Sensitive Toothpastes 75ml - M at £2 - onto the list as I have some Sensodyne toothpaste, of the same amount, already on the list and didn't want to be suggesting some bias towards Sensodyne being either better or worse - they're both sensitive toothpastes aren't they? - however, useless pricematch £2 vs £2 on several Colgate Sensitives Avs M:mad::rotfl: - but this one, which isn't £2 in M, would hopefully, vs T, work out a lot better anyway:

Colgate Sensitive Whitening with Sensifoam Toothpaste Tube (75ml)

    Store_2.15px.png
    [Strike]£2.99[/Strike] £1.50 £2.00 / 100ml

      [Strike]£2.99[/Strike]
      £1.47

      £1.49
Could have done with A being £2.99 if that is going to compare to T with £1.49 price but never mind!

A have also brought down their till price on one of the packs of bin liners that were and are 97p in M but more expensive at A. And have they brought the till price down to be 10% cheaper than M? Er, no, 97p price match instead:mad::mad::wall: - so that, unless you have an A colleague discount card in which case you get nothing from the APG for using it in any event - you can still only get 10% (assuming it still compares against M at 97p) if you use the APG. Otherwise, people must pay 97p same price and not 10% cheaper (they must pay that in any event - they get at best a voucher whose value is then kept with A as it must be used on items purchased from A so you never get a refund but your shopping, if you continue to shop at A in the future, is cheaper if you use the voucher - unless of course you put it all back by buying not good value A items and don't shop in a way that gets a voucher back from those). And no-one can pick up a pack of the bin bags, and just that, in A and pay 10% cheaper than M on them. They must buy at least 7 other different items (and thus pay A to buy those) - even then they have to do a target shop - otherwise, even if they check the APG, they may end up with either A's straight price or 10% cheaper than another competitor's much higher price if that competitor comes out best overall on their shopping comparison:mad:.

It makes no sense for A to be 10% cheaper than its major supermarket competitors. For them to make as much money possible as a business, they need to be the same price as everywhere else. That's the minimum they should be charging on most items (they may have a few r'back or loss-leader items that serve to get people into the store and hopefully buying much more or which they would not have bought at higher price but put into their trollies and buy at that price - thus selling what would otherwise not have been bought and people paying money for that). If they can charge much much more on quite a few items without customers moving away to elsewhere, so much the better for them. So, other than the few people that have their own colleague discounts, the 10% off is only available to the few people that play the APG in a particular way.

The trouble with some of these meal deals is that they tend not to have comparable items elsewhere - different pack sizes etc. that make them outside of weight:( - the one that CoT posted the other week didn't have a good comparison and there probably are no good comparisons in that deal but are we sure that that is the case?
