afternoon all - it is vile outside, I've been as far as the bird table so I know :)

just had a funny ring on the landline and now the line is dead - we only get spam calls anyway
so I checked the sky status page and there was a red button apparently high winds are affecting the Stoke area and satellite reception - we are no where near, about 20 miles from Stoke and its the phone line that is the issue.
this is the 8th storm in a row this year so high winds are not a novelty

no sky chat and I cant ring out - not that I use the landline anyway as we pay for calls now.

Our broadband is OK as far as I can tell, we have a very slow line anyway so its hard to tell when there are problems - its either slow or frozen

a quick read back while I finish the tea

Went into Asda for the first time in months to take advantage of the meal deal (my nearest store is 15 miles away) Thanks to the OP :) SELs in my store were showing the word "offer" but no signs up explaining what the offer was lol! Looks like website is the same :)
Noticed they've got their 3 for £10 easter eggs offer on, made a note of a couple of the more obscure ones to check if they're missing off the multi buy on MSM, but didn't spot anything that'll work :( Could do with a good easter Egg glitch as several kiddies to buy for this year :)

To find a glitch on the eggs you are better off scanning any on mb with the a's app to make sure they are not on mb on a.com.
Then if they aren't you then scan with the msm app to find a good comparison.
MB missing on msm is not really any help as a's don't use msm anymore. :(

Oh and aau thanks for the info on gifting the I pint vouchers. I got the no access to address book message but think that's because I said no when it originally asked. Looks like I might be able to change that in my settings on phone but going to ask the only 2 people in my contacts who are likely to have signed up for it first. ;). No good gifting if they don't want to part with real cash like me. :rotfl:

that is the sort of annoying thing OH does. Certain items only he eats but I am expected to know instantly when he has run out of them.
Then he says well you have been into x number of supermarkets this weekend why didn't you get my biscuits, crisps, chips, coke, chocolate, coleslaw, granola bars, sandwich bread or whatever else he is missing ...

He says what have you been doing all day? - my reply is well I am not standing with my head in the fridge or the cupboard all day constantly checking to see if you have run out of something vital

I even got earache for the time he ran out of granola bars even though he had left 2 empty boxes in the cupboard - how was I to know the boxes were empty and not full :rotfl:

Me - I'm going shopping Do you want anything?
    OH - Yes get food
    Me - What food?
    OH - I don't know, food.

I come back from the shops

OH - Why did you get this? Where's the food? Why can't you buy proper food? You never get me proper food? I wanted bacon blah blah.....
Me - Why didn't you tell me what you wanted?
OH - You should now what I like by now blah blah...
Me - You should know by now I need you to tell me what you want

    Everytime I go shopping
