Instant access savings accounts

I am looking for an instant access savings account where I can set up standing orders and direct debits to pay out of it.
The account that I had in mind at my local building society, the Kent Reliance Easy Saver, does not allow this.
Does anyone know of an account that does?

You won't find any savings account that will let you do all the things you want to do. There are, however, plenty of current accounts that let you do it all, and the nice thing is that many pay a lot higher interest than any savings account would. All the information is available on the forum.0

Its a pity though, that each time someone replies to 'this' thread, or the one '3 threads down from this one', their relative positions change:p
Before I started to reply, the one '3 threads down' was about the HL Platform
I'm sorry about that. I replied quickly hoping you'd see it, I didn't think it through:o. There is a thread re. Instant Access Savings accounts. As Colsten pointed out, there are many options for you with current accounts that you could use giving better interest if you wish.
Hope this is more help to you.
