    Hi,

Sounds a little dear to me considering you're supplying suite and tiles.

As I see it you will be paying for labour, plywood, plaster, adhesive, piping and fittings.

I'd be inclined to ask how long the work will take to get an idea of the schedule and then try alternative quotes asking for labour to be shown as a per day rate.

This will give you the cost of labour and the cost of materials.

To give you an idea me and a mate removed my old bath, sink and toilet and fitted new ones in 1 day.

    Hope this helps
See you on the dark side of the moon

    Hi,

I agree with Old Skool. The quote seems quite steep for fixings and labour work especially as you are supplying your own suite

To remove the tounge and grrove ceiling is fairly straight forward as are the tiles from the wall, laminate flooring, existing shower tray. Maybe you can do these jobs yourself??

Have you had any other quotes?

Are you have builders doing the plastering/tiling and a plumber to fix your sanitory ware and bath?
