Hi
I know that Martin has shown that the Nationwide Debit Card is pretty much the best. Because of this I opened a Flexaccount, but because I told them that I didn't want to move my main current account they have only given me a cashcard.
Does anyone know what rate I would get for Taking out Euros abroad?
The Visa rate today is 1.48, higher than the post office and TEG. My card has a cirrus logo.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!!
Thanks
PS. Leaving SAT 1/9/07 PM - HELP ASAP!!!

You'll get the best rate available - Nationwide don't add any loading or charge any fees. You won't know what it is, precisely, until you get home and see your statement0

Exactly but watch out for ATMs (especially in Spain) that may want to charge you for using their service and further more any where, ATM, shop or restaurant, that offers you the charge in Sterling, don't. It is called Dynamic Currency Conversion and is another scam by the banks (not Nationwide) & probably the retailer, to earn a little bit more of your hard earned dosh. You'll get the best rate available - Nationwide don't add any loading or charge any fees. This is how they calculate the rate - enter fee as "0" as Nationwide don't charge any fees
