Extractor fan works but doesn't vent any air

Also check that the ducting in the loft doesn't have a bow in it that has filled with water.

I've had that problem before

Thank you for all the help. As we cant get at the ducting without climbing on the roof I think we'll have to get someone in. But at least I feel more informed and will be able to ask the right questions.
