Applying for a mortgage whilst been on SSP for a month

Options
Hello, I am applying/going to be applying for a mortgage. I have excellent credit rating and a large deposit, the only issue I have is that I have been on SSP for a month and a bit due to an operation. I'm due back soon. I have proof from my employer of my income, bonuses, overtime etc and that I'm still employed, but I'm still worried this may knock me back. Does anyone know if this has ever been an issue and if I could be rejected for this reason?
