How do you make friends with posh people?

Its been my life long dream of mine to attend the henley royal regatta but i'm really struggling to get in with the in crowd
I nearly wheedled my way to an invite via a facebook group by posting pictures of me wearing chino's and a striped blazer that i look hot in! They almost bought it but 1 guy in the group went through my timeline and found a picture of a half eaten pepperami and called me out on it! I tried to play it out as a bit of chorizo but they had none of it and blocked me from the group
I dont know how to appeal to posh people! Can someone help me out so i can achieve my dream?

Can you actually handle a couple of oars? (I use the correct word, and the correct spelling - if you spell it wrongly then you are most definitely OUT) And remember, you can only wear the pink livery if you are an oarsman!

I've been to Henley, my partner at the time was a rower. Good times.
Spinkz I don't know why you would want to mix with people that are so different to yourself? Seems odd to aspire to a group that would not accept you as you are.0 -
Stop having ketchup on your chilli and you're nearly there.Never again will the wolf get so close to my door :eek:0

Some fashion advice to impress the bourgeoisie

Wear turned-up collars; slip-on shoes (with no socks); casually throw your jumper over your shoulders, wearing expensive shades, tweeds, Hunter wellies, and stripy ties (not necessarily together! Don't ya know!
Invent a double-barrelled name, preferably a career in the military, Major Spinkz-Fortiscue sounds good.
You're sure to fit right in with the posh bods.
Good luck spinkz!0 -
There's an excellent documentary series available on You Tube, type in Tim Nice-But-Dim and follow Tim's lead. It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0
