Ok so I have been given an MXQ tv box to watch movies etc. with.
All plugged in and connected to internet OK, lots of apps on the screen but where do I find movies etc. without a monthly subscription?
Has things like Oracle, Kodi, Filmon live TV, Show box, Root browser, Play store, Movie player, And Netflix which I know needs a monthly subscription.

Simply open the apps and most of them should already have preloaded channels and movies especially Kodi and showbox0

Google Kodi as android tv boxes posts appears to be against the rules re illegal content .

Must be thick as I cannot see how to watch movies etc.
Go to KODI and I get a bar across the screen with Pictures-videos-music-programs-system on it have tried all of them but it seems to take me to pay sites like iTunes etc. so how do I get onto the movie sites?0 -
I think the problem here is that we can't discuss this here due to the possibilities of obtaining illegal content.
What I can say though is that these boxes are not a plug in and play solution.
You need to spend time setting them up to get much out of them at all. Just clicking on Kodi will give you exactly what you're getting and nothing more.
I would suggest a Google search or watch some Youtube videos.
There are loads there that can set you on your way.
Good luck0 -

Try opening the videos tab then your apps are there,
pick an app
each app will have different sub folders
some might have a "top films from 2015"
eg open showbox and select the search option and search for a film.0 -

Shocked as not all are P2P streams and are legal seems we need to show the ruling.0

yes , but unfortunately there wording was "Kodi is a bit of software that allows illegal P2P streaming of paid for premium content. "
guilty even tho you only use it for streaming your own holiday films from your PC .
I wonder if those people used to confiscate portable radios "because" they allow people to receive police radio broadcasts ?Save a Rachael

Thanks all, no PM up to now, easiest thing will be to pay the small fee and use Netflix. Will investigate other apps later. Had no idea this was illegal.0
