Which of the grandparents has dementia?

Have either of them set up Lasting/Enduring Powers of Attorney that allow enable others to deal with their affairs?

I think my nan has dementia but has never been diagnosed as she does well to be honest. We might be able to do it with nan as I've read she would need to swear on oath of we need probate.

Nope neither have lasting power of attorney. We look after nan in our family home and deal with stuff and grandads partner does the same there.

I'll update it a bit as I could do with the advice. So the bank has closed the account and sent the money through to my nan, there was £14k cash give or take. There's a what I thought mobile home as my mum kept saying mobile home but it turns out its a park home. My mums not well enough to deal with it all, nan or grandad can't and grandad partner can't as there not married so it looks like it's all set for me to deal with.

I thought mobile homes could just be sold like caravans for cash etc but does anyone know if we need to get probate for it all? As I've googled until the cows come home and I'm a bit overwealmed and tired but fees are adding up so it needs sorting really.

I think we're going to have to pay the funeral out the money as it sounds like selling this home will take longer than I thought. But I have spoke to the park owner and they may buy it if the price is right.

Thanks for your help in advanced.

You are likely to need probate, yes.
