Need 200 Easter Eggs

Morning all - as per title need to buy 200 eggs for an event we are running and would need the boxed sized ones. Apparently Tesco etc do not let people bulk buy their eggs when on offer. Is there anywhere I could source eggs at wholesale cost ?
Thanks

You cant do online shop, as those type of orders are filled from shelf stock, Which would clear the store. You just need to order at customer services, unfortunately this means as its not an online order, they cant deliver the eggs to your house, you have to go pick them up

hi nothing to stop you going round a shop a few times or to different tescos and getting more....i wonder how many they will let you have i think there was some offer last year that meant you had to buy 4 this was the poundish size ones so

if you and a friend went to one tesco and got 20 each then went to another shop and did the same you would have 80 then did the same the next day or went to another tesco in next town in 5 trips you would have enough

not sure costco is cheaper but they do have a lot...could you approach a manager and ask may stop all the messing about..good luck
    onwards and upwards

You do have similar cash and carry stores where corner stores and restaurants go to get stock.

There's a local one near me called Booker.

It's just a matter of looking them up.

You will need to bring ID and evidence that whatever you're buying the eggs for exists as an association, club, company whatever...

Why not write to all the local easter egg sellers , cash and carrys and the manufacturers direct NOW and ask if they will donate some eggs to your event if it's for charity or is a community event ?

Ask your local corner shops which cash and carrys they use too.
