Making purchase will it affect 0% balance transfer

Hi, this may sound a bit thick but I have made a balance transfer to a new Barclay card which offers 28months interest free on said transfer, but they have also emailed me saying I have 0% on purchases until June. If I buy something and pay off the amount I have spent but not the balance transfer amount , will I still have the 0% on my account? I don't want the purchase to interfere in any way.
Thanks for your help.

The rule is that if you don't clear your balance in full each month, you will be charged interest.
So you will be charged interest, but at 0% on both purchases and the BT.
When the purchases promo ends, you will be charged interest on purchases at your normal rate, and at 0% on the BT.0 -
That hasn't really answered my question
I'm asking if purchases I make now and pay off in full will affect me not being charged interest on my balance transfer after the 0% purchase period has run out?

To answer the question - no. Purchases you make now and pay off in full will not affect the 0% balance transfer.
They are separate things. But to keep both deals you basically need to pay off the purchase in full + the minimum payment of the balance transfer.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Yeah that's what I thought but wanted to make sure

Does the minimum amount I pay count as going towards paying off the purchase too?0

Does the minimum amount I pay count as going towards paying off the purchase too?
No, because they are separate and the minimum payment pays towards the balance transfer whereas the purchase needs to be paid of in full..
Let's say you transferred £1000 and the minimum payment on that is 50 quid.
You then made a purchase of £73.21. So the amount to pay this month would be £50+£73.21=£123.21
Took me a while too to get my head round 0% cards and minimum payments etc.
Hope that helpsDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Yes thank you so much0

But I only have to pay the purchase off in full before the end of my 0% purchase period right ? So in this case, June? So long as I keep my minimum payments and then pay the extra for the purchase by June ?0

Oh, yes, sorry. So going by my example it would be the £50 plus the minimum payment for the purchase. But your bill should tell you that.
Sorry, thought I was all clued upDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
It's difficult to understand the above 'examples'.
A simple answer is:
Your payments - minimum or bigger - go towards the purchases balance first because its 0% ends earlier. The minimum payment is calculated for the current total balance. Before June the purchases balance has to be cleared to avoid any interest.0
