Nervous Mum!

My son takes his driving test in just over 5 mins - He's calm and I'm a bag of spanners!

Please wish him luck!

Not half as nervous as you'll be if he passes:D .

    Good luck to the lad.

If he passes send him out on his own straight away if possible, even if its only for a short distance. When I passed I drove the four miles to see my grandparents that afternoon. It was a fantastic feeling and it made me realise the responsibility. It also taught me that you have to know where you're going with no one there to say turn left turn right etc.:D
  • He's washed his car in readyness and plans to take his G/F to Bridlington tomorrow for the day!

I remember my brother-in-law taking his Mum's car out just after he passed his test. Fifteen minutes later he was back. He'd realised he needed petrol and gone to the filling station but discovered he had no idea how to fill the car with fuel so he had to come home.:D I had to go with him to show him the ropes.:rotfl: :rotfl: . I suppose he was lucky he looked at the fuel guage.

Very best of luck, let us know won't you! :D

Once he passes - he can look at the IAM course which helps improve driving skills and reduces insurance premiums - better value in my experience than the Passplus! :D £65 for unlimited instruction drives and the test fee included too :)
