You could try a local breakers yard, plenty of Jap specialists around.
There's some on ebay, they look reconditioned with 12 months warranty

I need a new starter motor for my 1993 corrola, and I've been quoted £134 for a new one. Does this sound reasonable? Any idea where I could get a cheaper one? MTIA
I was quoted £42 for one for my 1990 Corolla from 24/7 spares. I would then have to get a local mechanic to fit it.
At the moment it jams about once every 3 weeks or so and I can usually bump it to start but I think it is on the way out.
Let me know if you replace yours and what the total cost is so I am prepared.
Thanks, Lolly0 -
