    Make sure you have any proof of the fresh plaster (receipts, photos, contracts etc) for the insurance company/surveyor. They have a duty to return it to how it was before.
  • Thank you Phil. The Claims consultant visited today and stated that they are not in the habit of pulling down ceilings just for the sake of it and they look ok to him! They look an absolute mess!!

    Yes, we can get receipts from our plasterer to prove they were done recently.

    Buildings surveyor is attending next week so hopefully he will feel the same way we do and help our case.
