Although it's not quite so MSE I simply got a cheap £10K loan from Nationwide - I'm paying it back over 2 years and it'll cost me £350 in interest.
That sounds more steady to me.
Many of the 0% credit cards have flat fees at the start, so there's little difference in the cost of the loan.0
