Which bank? What type of account

Hi I'm new to all this! I want to open a second bank account at a different bank as I have a second job and ideally I'd like the money from it to build up there but I may also pay a few bills through it.
I still intend doing the majority of my banking through Danske Bank, who are my current bank.
Which bank should I go to and what type of account, bearing in mind Im in Northern Ireland??

I'm not aware of an mainland UK banks that restricts applicants to GB only - Danske NI usually does from GB applicants.
