Porting mortgage with Nationwide

We are currently moving by porting our mortgage as well as obtaining a top up amount with Nationwide. We are doing this through a broker who has said it needs to be done via paper form, this was sent to Nationwide on Friday. Does anyone have any idea of how long the application should take from now? Is it longer than the usual mortgage application timescales?

TIA

Same as normal application. Porting only refers to the T&C's that your current mortgage has, i.e. interest rate and term. In all other regards you are making a full new application and therefore everything will follow due process. In line with current external regulation and lenders internal criteria.
